Jul 4, 2018. #2. I went 15 days with Glimp, then I started getting some iffy readings so went to a new sensor. But still, 15 vs. 10 days will save $25/month in sensors. I haven't tried this yet but I read Glimp will start reading the sensor within an hour of activation vs. 12 hours. Don't know how accurate it'll be that early thou.

Press the “Connect Sensor” link under Settings-Sensor Connection. Make sure overview tab in the app now starts to show trend. Enable “Export to Apple Health” and/or Export to Apple Calendar are on. Your complication should read from Apple Health or Calendar as per step 6 to show the data. Hope this helps.
The FreeStyle Libre needs a 12-hour calibration period before its readings are considered accurate. This calibration period starts after your first glucose reading and sometimes this message will appear while the sensor is acclimating to your body. After the calibration period is up, you should be able to scan your sensor again without issue.
. I’ve found two work arounds. Reboot the phone and once up immediately open the FreeStyle app and take a reading. Plug the phone in and having it charging while I take the reading. I suspect it may be a power conservation issue with the phone turn down the sensitivity on the NFR. View in context.
